LONG BEACH ISLAND STORM UPDATE

A strong nor’easter is affecting the Jersey Shore with high winds, heavy rain, coastal flooding and dangerous surf. Please use caution when traveling on or around Long Beach Island and avoid flooded roadways. Saturday Update: Route 72 to Long Beach Island has reopened, and one lane of Long Beach Boulevard had also reopened according to the Ocean County Sheriff, but officials remain concerned about additional flooding around high tide.
